Coaches Registration Now Open for the 2026 Softball Season
Nanaimo Minor Softball Association is excited to welcome all returning and new coaches as we prepare for the 2026 softball season. Our volunteer coaches registration is now open, and we would love to have you join us.
NMSA runs because of our dedicated volunteers. As our Association continues to grow, we hope you will consider volunteering with one of our House league teams. Last season we had 23 House league teams, and with continued growth, we hope to accommodate even more kids who want to play softball this year.
Register as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach (Please see below age categories for the 2026 Season)!
A few notes:
- Season Dates: The 2026 season runs from April 7 to June 20, 2026. We will hold a coaches meeting on Monday, March 30 — more details to follow.
- Softball BC Fee: Softball BC charges a $25 annual fee for all coaches. NMSA covers this fee each year. Due to our switch to a new registration platform, the fee appears at checkout. To bypass it, please use Promo Code: NMSAREG2026!
- Criminal Record Check: All coaches are required to have a valid Criminal Record Check.
- If you completed one last season, thank you — you do not need to do it again, however we do require a simple CRC Screener to be completed. Details to follow!
